Prepared Speak-Up
Come prepared to take the stage, share your perspective, and make your voice heard.
Prepared Write-Up
Put your ideas into words and show the power of thoughtful communication.
Virtual submissions are due August 21 at MIDNIGHT!
Prepared Presentation
Inform. Engage. Inspire. Take a topic and turn it into a presentation that leaves an impact.
Impromptu Speak-Up
Think on your feet, trust yourself, and see where your voice takes you!
Topics will be announced on Jaycee Day!
Impromptu Write-Up
You’ll have a topic. You’ll have a moment. Then it’s time to put those thoughts into words.
Topics will be announced on Jaycee Day!
And remember: you do NOT have to be an expert to compete. Competitions are about giving yourself the opportunity to practice, grow, challenge yourself, and develop skills that can follow you far beyond the Jaycees.
Maybe public speaking makes you nervous.
Maybe you’ve never competed before.
Maybe you’re thinking, “I don’t know if I’m ready for this.”
That might be exactly why you should give it a try.
