Join the Master Gardener Program!Are you passionate about gardening and eager to share your knowledge with the community? Bedford County is starting it's own Master Gardener program this year and we're recruiting volunteers! This program offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your horticultural skills, engage in meaningful community service, and connect with fellow garden enthusiasts. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, there's a place for you.

All classes will be held from 9am - 12pm at the UT-TSU Extension Office with minimal exceptions. The goal of this program is to equip potential volunteers with knowledge in over a dozen horticulture topics to help us -grow- better communities.

Feb. 10th - Stewardship in TN
Feb. 17th - Soils & Soil Management
Feb. 24th - Botany & Propagation
Mar. 3rd - Vegetable Gardens
Mar. 10th - Home Fruits
Mar. 17th - Entomology & Integrated Pest Management
Mar. 24th - Plant Pathology
Mar. 31st - Turfgrass & W**d Management
Apr. 7th - Sustainable Landscape Design & Herbaceous Plants
Apr. 14th - Woody Ornamentals
Apr. 21st - Supporting Pollinators & Great Pollinator Plants
Apr. 28th - Local Celebration/Graduation
