Course Description:

• The primary pathology underlying the chronic disease of aging is microvascular disease. This disease generates a colossal burden on an individual’s health and is responsible for the fact most people outlive their health by 13 years. This course will discuss how to mitigate the risk of microvascular disease by minimizing oxidative stress. It will emphasize the vital role of oral health in this regard.
