Take your acting to the next level with this one-day Scene Study Intensive, designed for actors who are serious about sharpening their performance skills and deepening their craft.
In this Master Class, each student with be assigned a scene and asked to come prepared with lines fully memorized. This allows the workshop to fucus on what truly matters - your acting choices, emotional connection, character development, and performance technique. Throughout the day, you’ll work hands on with your scene partner and receive detailed constructive feedback tailored to your strengths and growth areas.
This intensive is about taking risks, pushing boundaries, and discovering new depths in your work. Whether you’re preparing for auditions, building your reel, or simply keeping your skills sharp, this workshop will help you perform with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

Richard Mason is a seasoned SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity actor with over 30 years of experience spanning film, TV, commercials, and live performances. Trained at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Fransisco, Richard offers a rare 360-degree perspective on acting - shaped by his extensive work in front of and behind the scenes, as he has worked as a casting professional and talent agent. His on-screen credits include Birdy, The K*ll Point, and The Father Downing Mysteries.
Richard is also the founder of Acting in Columbus, one of Central Ohios most respected acting programs. Through his workshops, he has trained thousands of students in on-camera performance, audition techniques, and self tape mastery. His students emerge with sharper skills, greater confidence, and a clear practical understanding of what it takes to succeed in today’s competitive entertainment industry.
