You’ll learn professional techniques for rolling truffles, then finish them with elegant dipping and decorative touches that look just as luxurious as they taste.

All supplies are included, so you can focus on the fun and the craft. Each participant will leave with half a dozen handcrafted chocolate truffles, recipe cards to recreate the magic at home, and a keepsake apron to remember the experience. Whether you’re celebrating, learning something new, or simply treating yourself, this workshop is equal parts delicious, creative, and unforgettable.

Workshop Outline:

Our Chocolate Truffle Making Workshop is a two-hour, hands-on experience where guests learn to craft luxury truffles in bold, elevated flavors like Chocolate Chili, White Chocolate & Peach, and Sea Salt Bourbon Dark Chocolate. (truffle menu rotates by season) The workshop is set to a carefully curated playlist. This workshop blends technique, creativity, and vibe for an experience unlike any other.

I’m a self-taught cook shaped by generations of professional domesticators—my grandmothers, who were exceptional maids and cooks, taught me that food is both skill and love. My culinary journey has taken me from being featured on Food Network’s Food Junkies with Kelly Rizzo, to owning and operating brands like Xtra Good Cornmuffins, Cupcakes & Cornmuffins (located at the Fashion Outlets Mall in Rosemont, IL), and The Soulful Bite featuring Front Porch Truffles*. I’m also the founder of Above Average Candle Studio, where hands-on, sensory-driven workshops bring people together through craft, creativity, and shared experience. Today, I continue sharing soulful, plant-forward creativity across my platforms TheNiftyFiftyVegetarian on TikTok, Lemon8, Instagram, and Facebook—celebrating heritage, flavor, and the joy of learning by doing.
