SATURDAY 22/11/25 4-8PMThe Mary Christmas CBD Street Party is an amazing community Christmas event with something for everyone!
Join us for a festive afternoon and evening of fine dining, entertainment, shopping and fun! Plus see the official lighting up of the Maryborough Christmas Tree as a special feature of this event at 6.30pm. See Santa light up the tree!
The Mary Christmas CBD Street Party is a chance to relax, enjoy and stock up on Christmas Gifts and unique products from our local sellers. Kids enjoy an amazing kids zone with a range of rides and fun activities. Our fantastic local live band, Cobblestone, will have you up on your feet and 'Rockin' around the Christmas Tree' all night long with their party tunes!
PLUS SEE SANTA & MRS CLAUS...
Santa and Mrs Claus arrive at 5pm so be sure the kids are here early to see them arrive! Come and have a chat to Santa and Mrs Claus, grab a photo and give them a high-five.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
A CHILL OUT ZONE - Yessss! For when you just need a few minutes to settle down and catch your breath. Head over to the Headspace tent and unwind with some relaxing, fun games.
Our good friend Mr Whippy will also be running his very popular Ice Cream competition! (Thank you Mr Whippy) To sign up, you'll need to arrive early as there's limited contestant spots available throughout the event. See Mr Whippy at the event for details and entry.
COMPETITION TIME
That's not our only competition, we also have a Kids Colouring Competition for ages 0-14 with 6 fantastic lolly hamper prizes up for grabs! Keep an eye on our Facebook page and we'll upload the Competition or pop in and see Linda at Ray White on Adelaide Street to pick up a copy so you can colour in before the event. We'll also have competition sheets available at the MCPAI info tent. (Thank you to Linda Ausburn at Ray White for sponsoring the Colouring Competition.)
Then there's our crowd favourite, Scavenger Hunt! Find all of Santa's reindeer, write down the code words and return your entry to our MCPAI info tent to go into the draw to win one of 2x $50 prizes. Pick up your Scavenger Hunt entry form from the MCPAI Info tent or in a Christmas Showbag at the event. Scavenger Hunt entry is free.
There's some great prizes to win in our CHRISTMAS RAFFLE too! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at our MCPAI Info tent at the event. (Thank you to John Barounis MP for sponsoring our Monster Christmas Raffle.)
AMAZING KIDS ZONE
Our AMAZING kids zone includes jumping castles, bungee run, a petting zoo, soft play zone for the littlies and face painting.
Kids Christmas Showbags available for just $15 per child! This includes a wristband for unlimited access (up to 4 hours) to the inflatable rides, soft play area (for 5 and under), petting zoo, face painting and a bag of goodies!! PLUS a ticket in our Kids Prize Raffle. Purchase Christmas Showbags from our MCPAI Info tent.
Single tickets are also available to purchase at the MCPAI Info tent for the jumping castles, petting zoo and face painting (should you not wish to purchase a showbag.)
PLUS, we have 6x free craft activities for kids to enjoy - stop in at these stalls to busy your little one with a craft:

DINING ZONE
Our dining zone boasts a huge range of food and beverage businesses with delectable dinner options, tantalising dessert options and a variety of tasty drink choices (no alcohol at this event sorry).
No one will go hungry at this party! There is so much variety to choose from.
CANDY CANE LANE MARKETS
Visit the Candy Cane Lane Markets to stock up on unique and beautiful Christmas Gifts or spoil yourself with something from the beautiful range of boutique products on offer. We have well over 40 stalls located all up Adelaide Street (and some on Kent Street) so you're bound to find something just right for you!

- Come and grab a free photo at the Photobooth van (with thanks to our photobooth sponsor, Downer EDI Pty Ltd).
- With thanks to Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, come and see their very popular Reptile Display. Are you game to hold a snake?
- Look out for Bluey as she makes her way around the event!
- Check out the Fraser Coast Lawnmower Racing Club display at the top end of Adelaide Street. These are not your regular sort of lawnmowers!
