Formerly the Mid-Summer Bike Tour...Summer 2023 was the launch of Tour Da Lakes!In 2026 we will remember & honor Mark Knutson with the Mark Knutson Memorial Tour Da Lakes...a Project 412 Event. Part of the proceeds going back into the community through a donation to Project 412.
Join us for a beautiful Saturday morning bike ride with friends, family or just by yourself! It's as competitive or non-competitive as you want it to be.
FREE tap beer or soda after the ride at either Hub 41, Roasted or Brygge!
Root Beer Floats for all riders (courtesy of Hub 41) at the finish line as well. 🍺🍨
Start time for ALL distances will be 8:30AM at Detroit Lakes High School! (located at 1301 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes, MN 56501)
**FOUR** DIFFERENT DISTANCES TO CHOOSE FROM (All begin and end at DL High School):
Each distance appropriately named for the Lake it takes you to!
*PLEASE NOTE: 2026 final routes may be adjusted due to West Lake Drive construction progress.
Detroit Lake - approximately 12 Miles
Lake Sallie - approximately 21.5 Miles
Lake Melissa - approximately 29 Miles
**NEW IN 2026** With the completion of the Heartland Trail along Highway 10; Acorn Lake all the way to Frazee, we have added the "Acorn Lake to Frazee + Lake Melissa" route/distance - approximately 43.5 Miles
(Riders for this distance MUST be able to keep a 15+ mph MINIMUM pace so that we have all participants back to DL High School well before Noon.)
There's a distance for everyone, and the routes are safe for all riders...Get ready to Tour Da Lakes!
