Lake Melissa Ride for a Cause

The Hathaway and Buchholz families have lived next door to each other on Lake Melissa for nearly 100 years, and almost every summer they plan fun activities together — tennis tournaments, mini triathlons, jigsaw puzzle contests, and last year a group, ages 13–70, swam across the lake!
This year, they're riding bikes around Lake Melissa (approx 7.25 miles) and they've incorporated a worthy local cause: Lakes Crisis & Resource Center. We hope you can join us!
The Plan:
-Minimum age to ride is 10 years old.
-A safety waiver is required before riding — helmets are required.
-This is a family friendly ride, not a race. Please make sure your bike is in good shape ahead of time; there will be no sag wagons for flat tires or breakdowns.
-Refreshments will follow at Shady Hollow Flea Market.
-The ride will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
How to Support:
You can either register to ride with a $40 registration fee or donate and contribute to someone riding in the event. All contributions massively help our cause!
