Book Fair & Author Signings
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
All Ages Welcome
Spend the day wandering a thoughtfully curated book fair featuring independent authors, signings, and literary vendors. Browse new stories, meet the minds behind the margins, and celebrate the written word in an intimate, creative space.
All literary genres are welcome, with a special focus on fantasy, horror, local authors, and LGBTQIA+ voices.
Cosplay is encouraged—come dressed as your favorite literary character or in bookish-inspired attire.
Book Fair Ticket: $50
Community Book Drive
Help us give stories a second life. Throughout the event, we’ll be collecting gently used and new books to help restock Little Free Libraries across Richmond.
We welcome donations of books for all ages, with special appreciation for diverse voices and inclusive stories.
Scavenger Hunt
During the period between the Book Fair and Literary Ball enjoy a Richmond Scavenger Hunt. Explore local Richmond Businesses and literary history while competing for a special prize for the top team!

As night falls, step into Moonlight—an enchanting literary ball inspired by classic tales, romantic prose, and the magic of storytelling after dark. Guests are invited to dress as their favorite literary characters, blending formalwear with fantasy, romance, and dramatic flair. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening.
Cosplay is encouraged, whether subtle, symbolic, or full character embodiment. Choose your favorite literary character!
