Please join us for an exclusive panel discussion connecting craftsmanship, artistry, archaeology, and historical research. Moderated by Wilton House Museum’s Executive Director, Amanda Keller, this event features three trailblazing voices in the decorative arts including Genevieve Wheeler Brown, an art advisor and author of Beyond Blue & White, Merry Outlaw, Senior Curator for Jamestown Rediscovery and author of Following the Dragon, and world-renowned ceramics artist Michelle Erickson, whose work is exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Drawing on their decades of combined experience handling surviving pieces and archaeological materials, these experts will explore how women have shaped our understanding of material culture and how ceramics forge our global connections. Wine reception and book signing will immediately follow the panel discussion.
