Standing at the crossroads of the future and the past you’ll find Marcus Trummer. He is an artist who dares to draw outside the lines, pushing the definitions of traditional genres while still honoring the legacy of his classic influences. Known for combining blues, soul, R&B, and rock, the singer-songwriter and guitarist from Calgary, Alberta released his debut album, “From The Start”, in 2024. The ten-song record earned him a nomination for Blues Artist of the Year at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards. More recently, he was named Male Blues Vocalist of the Year at the 2026 Canadian Blues Music Awards. Beyond Canada, Trummer is quickly establishing an international presence. In 2023, he won the Telluride Blues Challenge and the following year he made his U.S. debut at the renowned Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
