Slatter's dark, gothic fantasy novel All the murmuring bones. this tale blends Celtic mythology with a story of a young woman, Mirin O'Malley, who fights against her family's dark secrets and an arranged marriage to restore her family's fortune, encountering magical creatures like selkies and kelpies along the way.
