Assalamualaikum everyone! Alhamdulillah, Ramadan is almost upon us again, and we will be hosting our Weekly Potluck Iftar and Congregational Prayers again on Saturdays at our beloved Masjid As Salam. Below is the program for each night:
~ Arrival 15 minutes before Azan Maghrib to get settled in
~ Breaking our fast with dates and water
~ Maghrib congregational prayer
~ Potluck Iftar/Dinner
~ Isha and Taraweeh congregational prayers
~ Group clean up and departure
Here are the event timings on these 4 Saturdays.
02/21/2026 ~ Arrival Time @ 5:45 PM & Azan Maghrib @ 6:00 PM.
02/28/2026 ~ Arrival Time @ 5:50 PM & Azan Maghrib @ 6:07 PM.
03/07/2026 ~ Arrival Time @ 6:00 PM & Azan Maghrib @ 6:14 PM.
03/14/2026 ~ Arrival Time @ 7:05 PM & Azan Maghrib @ 7:20 PM.
A gentle reminder that volunteers run all our community events, so please do your best to participate for the sake of Allah SWT. For the betterment of our community, we need your contributions of food and drinks, as well as masjid cleanup, so no one is left to do all the cleanup work alone! Always remember that Allah SWT will reward you for your efforts in helping His Ummah, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan ❤️🤲
It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” Sunan Ibn Majah 1746

May the All-Knowing, All-Seeing One accept all our good deeds and forgive all our shortcomings.
