Mar 28 Welcome Spring Cacao Ceremony

Here at Healing Earth Energy, all of you is welcome, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation...we welcome you as you are. Our one-on-one sessions and group events are inclusive, judgment-free zones.

Join us in sacred circle as we learn about the physical and spiritual benefits of ceremonial cacao. We will drink sacred ceremonial cacao, dance to help the cacao move through our bodies (optional, no dance experience required), and Carla will guide you in connecting with the plant Spirit of Cacao to get a personal message for your life.

Cacao is not psychoactive, but there are some contraindications, and you are encouraged to use your best judgment regarding whether and how much to consume.

Contraindications:

- Cancer / chemotherapy / immunotherapy - if any of these apply to you and you choose to register (so you can experience the ceremony), please let us know so we know not to prepare any cacao for you.

In the following 3 cases, please check in with your body and perhaps your doctor, and if you feel it is appropriate to have cacao, start with a very small dose until you are familiar with how your body responds

- Pregnancy - unless you already have an established relationship with cacao

- SSRI's (depression and anti-anxiety medications)

- Heart conditions and any other health conditions

Bring water to stay hydrated (highly recommended), whatever you need to be comfortable (cushion, yoga mat, layers, blanket). Optional items: journal, pen, small item to place on the altar (will be returned to you).

Single serving packets of cacao will be available for purchase at the event so you can take some home with you​.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time so we can begin on time. The entrance is in the rear of the building.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove, anyone intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or to anyone behaving in a disruptive or unruly manner. No refunds will be given in these instances.
