Mapping Your Wellness - Setting the Course for a Balanced Year
During this workshop, we'll explore our personal motivation, core values, and meaningful intentions that can guide well-being throughout the year. A few highlights include:
Clarifying the difference between our values, motivation, and desired outcomes
Exploring what "balance" means to you and identifying goals that support it
Collaborating through guided reflection and group discussion
Participants will receive a small gift (a journal for reflection exercises), along with handouts and supportive tools for self-awareness. Together, we'll toss the traditional resolutions and instead set a course for sustainable, authentic change.
We will end with a yoga nidra practice to give you the opportunity to set and intention or relax and reset the mind and body so that you are able to envision a path for the New Year.
Yoga Nidra, translates as “yogic sleep,” and is a guided meditation practice that brings the body into a state of profound relaxation while keeping the mind gently aware. It’s is deeply restorative and practiced lying down with props to make you completely comfortable as you are guided through a structured series of steps in the yoga nidra practice. The practice of Yoga Nidra brings you into a state between waking and sleep similar to what it feels like just before you drift off to sleep. Your nervous system shifts into a deep rest and the body releases tension and stress. Other benefits of Yoga Nidra are reduced anxiety, improved sleep, supports healing, restoration of energy, improves sleep and may help to balance your emotional state.
It is said that a 30-minute Yoga Nidra session can feel as rejuvenating as several hours of sleep for some people due to effectively activating your parasympathetic nervous system.

As a certified Health Empowerment Coach (through NBHWC), Debby supports women - especially in midlife - in seeing their worth, embracing themselves fully, and recognizing their power to shift how they think, feel and respond. Her mission is to help women move from self-criticism and overwhelm to self-compassion and confidence, a journey inspired by her own experience of living a life of "shoulds", guilt, and a quiet longing for inner acceptance.
