Manual Transmission is a six-piece rock cover band from Plymouth, Minnesota, formed in 2023 by people who were old enough to know better and did it anyway.
We cover six decades of rock—from ‘60s classics to more modern favorites. If it has guitars, hooks, or the ability to make people sing louder after two drinks, it’s probably on the list.
The band features Steve Mandt on drums, Brad Carlson on bass, Vadim Bartlov on guitar, Jeremy Bennett on keys, and Heather Hamernick and Emily Anderson on vocals. Between us, we have 15 kids, a collection of respectable day jobs, and exactly zero free weekends.
We play because live music is one of the few things that still gets strangers vibing together. That’s worth preserving. Music is how we stay sane. Therapy is great, but it’s harder to dance to – come rock with us!
