This is a 2 DAY CLASS! Please be prepared to attend both days!

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is a followup course to Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 1 and 2 by Wilda del Carmen. You must have taken Wilda's Level 1 and 2 MLD courses before taking this class.

What you will learn:
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a form of very light touch that encourages lymph flow in the body. Learn various causes of edema in the head and neck, in addition, the appropriate MLD sequence.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Students will review Level one and Level two anatomy, physiology, and manual lymphatic drainage, pathologies.
2. Students will learn anatomy, physiology, technique pressure, and direction
3. Students will learn an understanding of the lymphatic mechanism regarding the urinary system and cardiovascular system
4. Students will learn various causes of edema in the head and neck and their appropriate treatments
5. Students will learn about the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage with an overview of pressure, pace, lymphatic flow, and lymph node location.
6. Students will learn how to select appropriate manual lymphatic drainage techniques to the head and neck.
7. Students will learn and review contraindications and indications of manual lymphatic drainage
8. Students will review the MLD technique for the following pathologies reviews: Aesthetic facial surgery (cosmetic surgery), Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Rhytidectomy (Facelift), forehead lift, brow lift, neck, Cleft lip and palate repair, Lips surgery, Rhinoplasty (nose surgery), Hair transplants (follicular Unit Extraction, follicular Unit Transplant), Sinus pathologies, Colds, and Tonsil pathologies.
