Mantra Lounge - Kirtan w/ Manu

We’re delighted to welcome you to this month’s kirtan gathering, led by Manu, our local lead singer and a native of Dublin.

Manu’s journey into spirituality began during his student years at UCD in 1982. Since then, he has been steadily walking the path of Bhakti Yoga, dedicating his life to daily mantra meditation in the forms of japa (personal chanting) and kirtan (collective chanting). Decades of sincere practice have shaped a grounded, heartfelt approach that invites both newcomers and long-time practitioners into a shared space of devotion and reflection.

Through chanting and stories Manu brings the essence of the bhakti tradition alive — a tradition that speaks of love, connection, and awakening the heart. Kirtan is a simple yet powerful practice: the mind softens, the breath deepens, and a natural sense of peace and connection begins to unfold.

No previous experience is needed. Simply come as you are — to listen, chant, or sit in stillness.

The gathering is donation-based, with vegan treats lovingly offered afterward.
