Maha Shivratri Chanting & Kirtan – Dublin

You are invited to a Kirtan and chanting Session in the heart of Dublin City Centre! Kirtan is a spiritual practice at the core of devotional yoga. Immerse yourself in the sounds of the harmonium, the rhythmic clash of cymbals, and the resonances of the mridangam drum as we partake in our unique call-and-response chanting event.

Kirtan meditation uses steady, rhythmic chanting to help the mind slow down and focus, making it easier to step out of habitual mental noise. As the event draws to a close, we warmly invite you to stay for light refreshments and an informal chat about the spiritual path. To round off the afternoon, we’ll be serving freshly brewed chai (spiced tea) along with a selection of tasty homemade vegan cakes — a relaxed way to connect and unwind together.

PARKING There is road parking available around the meditation centre. If you wish to use a car park, the nearest one is 5 minutes walk: Park Rite, Smithfield Market Car Park, Queen St, Dublin, D07 NX33.
WHAT TO BRING There will be chairs and cushions available at the venue. You can also bring a bottle of water to place in the middle of the chanting circle to charge it with positive vibrations which you can take home and drink at a later time.
