Mandem on the Move: Building Skills for Work & Business

Mandem’s Quarters, in partnership with the British Library, presents Mandem on the Move—a fortnightly programme designed to help global majority men build confidence, develop employability skills, and explore business opportunities. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and expert-led sessions, this series creates a supportive space for personal and professional growth.

• Practical Workshops – Hands-on sessions covering CV writing, LinkedIn, communication, and business basics.

• Facilitator-Led Training – Learn from experienced professionals who understand the challenges and can provide real-world insights.
• Men’s Circle Discussions – A safe space to share experiences, support each other, and build confidence.
• Access to Resources – Learn how to use the British Library’s Business & IP Centre to support your career or business goals.

This programme is for men aged 16-30 who feel stuck in employment or business. Whether you’re NEET (not in education, employment, or training), an ex-offender, or facing financial or mental health barriers, this space is for you.
