Join the Friends of Rondebosch Common for a hands-on planting morning to help restore one of the last remaining fragments of Critically Endangered Cape Flats Sand Fynbos, right here in the Southern Suburbs.
We'll be planting indigenous species grown for this very ground: rose-scented pelargonium, sea rose, fountain bush, and protea seeds.
What to bring:
🌱 A hand spade
🧤 Gardening gloves
🧢 A hat
💧 Drinking water
When: Saturday 18 July, meet from 10:00
Where: The bench on Sawkins Road, Rondebosch Common
Who: Everyone welcome. No experience needed, and children are welcome with an adult
