About this Event

Our Crafternoon will be a brilliant afternoon celebrating all things textile craft.

Want to learn a new skill? Our crafty pros will be on hand to teach the basics of stitching, knitting and crochet. We'll also have family friendly activities available so the whole family can join in.

Fancy crafting in creative surroundings? We also encourage people to bring along their own craft projects to work on. Meet like-minded people, share ideas and get inspired.

We're also running a stash swap to help everyone refresh their craft supplies sustainably. Bring your unwanted materials such as fabric, yarn, patterns etc and pick up something new.

We'll be based in the Community Hub on the ground floor of the Craft and Design Centre. Onsite cafe, Fred's, will be selling delicious food and drink to fuel your crafting.
