Who: All doulas and interested birthworkers in the area, please spread the invitation!
What: Please join the Malone Center's Maternal Wellness program and AWHONN Nebraska to learn about AWHONN's POST-BIRTH postpartum warning signs tool and how doulas can use it to educate and support their clients. We will also learn about NPQIC's Postpartum Bands Alert tool from Nebraska AWHONN representatives Marisa Schafer and Samantha Kenning, a tool that has spread throughout the state to alert all medical professionals that a patient is up to 6 weeks postpartum, and their symptoms may have different differential diagnoses as a result.

When: Friday March 27, 2026, 10am-12pm. Presentation will run approximately 10:30-11:30am with discussion to follow.
