On 15th January, There & Back Again returns to Malido Apéro for an intimate midweek night of music, mood, and very good drinks.

This edition features Papabear (aka Samarth Bahl), a Bangalore-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music feels like a warm hug you didn’t know you needed. Blending lo-fi, alt-pop, and soft hip-hop textures, his songs are introspective yet comforting—gentle, groove-led, and emotionally honest without trying too hard.

Whether performing stripped-back or leaning into richer layers, there’s an ease to Paperbear's sound that draws you in and keeps you there. Having previously toured across India as part of the alternative band Smalltalk—playing festivals such as NH7, VH1 Supersonic, and Ziro Festival—he now brings a more intimate, evolved live set that reflects where he is as an artist today.

Fresh off the release of Love, me and currently working towards his debut album Raw Honey, this set offers a glimpse into an artist very much in motion. Thoughtful lyrics, warm melodies, and music that lingers long after the last note—perfectly suited for a close-knit night at Malido.

The evening is powered by Żyto Vodka, with specialty cocktails flowing through the night, adding just the right amount of sparkle to an already soulful setting.
