There & Back Again returns for its 16th edition on Thursday, 9th July, stripping things down for an evening built entirely around the keys. For one night only, Malido’s most intimate live music experience welcomes Akhil Sahni, a New Delhi-born singer, songwriter, and pianist returning home after four years of shaping his signature sound in London.

Classically trained since the age of eight, Akhil speaks the piano as a first language. His time immersed in London’s brilliant live scene pulled him deep into soul, pop, and jazz, culminating in his debut EP, Puzzle. Released in September 2025, its five tracks offer the kind of cinematic precision that has already captured international press and hundreds of thousands of listeners.

He describes his sonic identity best:

"Think John Mayer if he played the piano, but had Jordan Rakei and Michael Bublé in his head and Coldplay whispering in his ear."

Beyond his solo work, Akhil is the founder of saani, a piano IP dedicated to championing the instrument across India. Currently on tour with Faheem Abdullah, and fresh off performances at London’s historic St. Pancras Clock Tower and Summer By The River, this Thursday marks his next intimate stop.

To complement the performance, our bar team has crafted a limited, exclusive cocktail menu featuring Zyto Vodka. Expect two bespoke cocktails available for one night only, intentionally designed to mirror the mood and storytelling of Akhil's music.
