About this Event
This workshop provides an introduction to behaviours that challenge which is aimed at parent/carers of children aged from 2 years up to the age of 11/Year 6 with additional needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex.
During this workshop we will look at some of the common reasons for behaviours that challenge and explore ways to respond to your child so that positive behaviour is encouraged, and behaviours that challenge are reduced.
After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a Zoom link to access the session.
You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets.
If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
If workshop is full - places can become available and we are very proactive at ensuring all places are taken on our workshops. In order to join the waitlist, please open Eventbrite via an internet browser, rather than using the Eventbrite app, in order to book yourself onto the waitlist.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
