Join Remedy Garden for a fun and educational 3-part series where you will learn all about the art and science of making herbal medicine. Discover the benefits of using natural remedies and how to create your own herbal remedies at home. This in-person event will provide hands-on experience and expert guidance to help you get started on your herbal medicine journey.

About the Instructor: Jahwei Chen-Graf is a clinical herbalist, teacher and chief formulator at Remedy Garden. With over 20 years of experience, Jahwei is super excited to share her passion for herbal healing! Her mission is to empower people to connect to the ancient art of herbalism and to make herbal medicines accesible to all.

What to expect: Using a combination of slide show presentations and hands-on medicine making, we will explore the medicinal properties and folklore associated with seasonal herbs as well as discover the science behind the best ways to extract herbal constituents. After completing the classes, participants will have the skills and knowledge to create a home herbal appothecary.

The ticket price is for all three classes. It covers all materials including take home remedies (valued at over $150), printed color handouts with recipes and tea to sip on during class.

Venue: We're looking forward to hosting these classes at the beautiful Wolf Craft School conveniently located in downtown Nevada City. There's plenty of parking in the public lot outside Remedy Garden (1 minute walk away).

Accessiblity: Please note that there is a flight of stairs to reach the classroom.

Refund Policy: Due to materials, preparation and venue rental, there will be NO refunds after 4/4/26 unless the class is cancelled by the organizer due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment. Refunds will be granted at the discretion fo the organizer and the eventbrite and credit card fees will be deducted. If for any reason you are unable to attend a class after 4/4/26, you are welcome to transfer the ticket to someone else with prior approval. Thank you for understanding.
