Making Fused Glass Lanterns

Learn the skills of glass fusing and create your own design of glass for your lanterns. You have a choice of whether to make a single large lantern or a pair of medium sized lanterns.
For each lantern you will create the panels of fused glass decorated a range of forms of glass - frits, powders, confetti, coloured glass, mica powders, glass paints and more.
The panels will be fired in the kiln and then inserted into the sides of each lamp. With the light shining out through each panel of fused glass, you will have a stunning finished piece.
You will work with float glass and float compatible materials.
