Martyn's Law for Major Churches
About this Event
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act, also known as Martyn's Law received Royal Assent on 3 April 2025, and major churches are required to consider changes to their security arrangements.
This interactive is designed to raise awareness of Counter-Terrorism issues, to improve security culture, assist delegates with understanding the role they play and increase confidence when responding to an incident. The course will provide training on the threat of terrorism; evacuation, invacuation and lockdown procedures, within the often difficult constraints of historic buildings.
The course is led by a specialist in this field.
