Attention all crafters and artists! I am excited to announce the second Makers Swap: Spring Cleaning Edition!
We had such a huge turnout and great success back in March with our first swap and now that we're in Spring Cleaning season, I suspect a lot more discoveries of old and forgotten supplies have probably been made.
At the last swap, we had donations like the contents of a grandmother's entire craft room (shout out to all the TrueValu goodies we came across!), tassels and fake flowers, boxes of paper and stamps for scrapbooking or collaging, and so much more; such a range of supplies with so many opportunities!
Any old or no longer being used-by-you supplies that are taking up your valuable space, please consider donating them and picking up something new (to you) for your next project!
I encourage you to invite friends and family, coworkers, and anyone else you might think would be interested in this event- the more the word is spread, the greater affect we can have on our community.
We'll be accepting donations from 10AM - 6 PM on FRIDAY, May 22nd and the first day of the event as well, Saturday, May 23rd. We will not be accepting any donations on Sunday after 11 am.
The hours of the Swap on Saturday and Sunday are 10am - 6pm, keeping the schedule consistent all three days to cut down on confusion.
The charities we teamed up with at the end of the last swap so no donations went to waste: GrannyKnit- Africa for the leftover fabrics, and the Christmas Bureau for the leftover Christmas goodies. We ended the swap with nary an item to put in storage!
