Join the Friends of Northwest Park and the Master Gardeners in the Demonstration Organic Garden to learn how to grow healthier, more disease-resistant and more nutritious crops using soil amendments and foliar sprays you can make yourself!We will be guided by Nigel Palmer, author of The Regenerative Grower’s Guide to Garden Amendments. He will discuss several different methods of creating amendments and the science behind each. Participants will have the opportunity to make two different amendments to take for their own use.
Supplies are included in your registration and registration is required. If there is rain, we will move inside to the Nature Center. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing/shoes and plan to meet at the demonstration Organic Garden.
