Make Your Damn Portfolio: A Website Workshop for Creatives & Freelancers

It's not just you. I can't even tell you how many creatives and freelancers have a deep understanding of who they are and what they do. Making a portfolio? Well, that's a different story.

You know you need a portfolio that reflects your work. You feel like you're missing good opportunities. You're tired of sending people to Instagram or an ugly website you don't know how to update.

Make Your Damn Portfolio is a three-hour DIY website workshop taught in English, designed specifically for creatives and creative freelancers (designers, makers, photographers and videographers, artists, writers, stylists, illustrators, or anyone else who needs a portfolio).

Portfolio websites are unique. In this workshop, I'll walk you through how to...

• Set up a basic portfolio website in Squarespace that you'll be able to build and keep updated yourself.
• Select, tag, and organize your work in an easy-to-navigate way.
• Create visuals for your work using free mockups and examples from other creatives.
• Write impactful short descriptions that will get clients to work with you.
• Come away from the workshop with a portfolio website featuring a basic homepage, about page, contact page, portfolio overview, and 5 portfolio items.

Important. You'll get about 2 hours of pre-work ahead of the workshop! In order to finish your portfolio by the end of the workshop, you'll need to complete it and bring it with you.

* Some costs are associated with hosting your website in Squarespace (€150-€200-ish per year). These are not included in the workshop costs.
