Make Music Sun Prairie and Prairie Music & Arts are pleased to host Sun Prairie’s first-ever Hip-Hop Festival on June 21, 2024, as part of the Make Music festivities. The event will feature two venues, including live music, dance, community artmaking, spoken word, and workshops.
At the Sun Prairie Dream Park, 415 Park Street in Sun Prairie – Noon to 4 p.m.
Music starts at noon with DJ Terrance J and guest artists Jay Day, J. Clark, RR Moore, and Foxxy.
Dance workshop and performance at 1:00 p.m.
Youth open mic for ages 13-18 at 2:30 p.m. (prizes!)
Community graffiti artmaking throughout the event with artist LivingOutUnrealDreams
At The Loop, 202 E Main Street in Sun Prairie – 2 to 3 p.m. The Art of Sampling workshop with music producer, Overlor (a.k.a City Alder David Virgell). Activities are free and open to all ages!
All activities are youth-friendly and open to the public at no cost.
