In its 3rd year, Make Music Sun Prairie is part of a global music celebration on June 21st each year, bringing people of all ages and skill levels together to make music. This year, over 90 U.S. cities, 21 in Wisconsin, will host thousands of free Make Music performances as part of the world’s largest annual music event. There are no rules or exact ways to be involved. Activities don’t have to be fancy: sing-a-longs, bucket drum ensembles, and kazoo bands are all welcome; it can be music-making of any kind, and all ages and skill levels can participate. Music-making activities can take place in outdoor spaces, schools, homes, community centers, and businesses. Everyone is invited to be a part of this free, family-friendly event.
