About this Event
Learn to make botanical ink for drawing, painting and printmaking.
We’ll start by learning about the basic science on pigments in plants and some history on how different plants have been cultivated for color in art-making. Next, we’ll use botanical materials found and grown locally to make primarily water-based inks using similar methods to natural dyeing.
Take home one ink to use and the knowledge to make more.
