Beginning with a Taoist face wash to enliven our sensory receptors, this event will entail a collective decolonizing action: scraping out the white flesh of this symbolic and politicised nut, and reclaiming the joy in collective labor.
Working with prompts inspired by deep listening practice we will sound and sense our way through a process grating and grinding as we make a fresh chutney to share. Be aware the air will be heady with spices and you may feel things intensely.

The action involves your physical bodily involvement. Please let us know if you have any access need which may require us to make adjustments to ensure you can participate.
& come with an empty jar for the altar.
Held in the lead up to Thanksgiving, we welcome people who wish to celebrate a sense of togetherness beyond the colonial narrative.
There will be a sliding scale door charge of $10/15/25
