About this Event
Make a modern milking stool with CNC techniques! We invite you to get introduced to working in a workshop environment and gain experience and confidence in making. You'll be guided on how to use basic machinery and traditional hand tools including a drill press, bandsaw and handsaws amongst clamps and vices, all in our production space.
The stool is comprised of CNC produced parts and off the shelf turned wood components as an example of working across digital technology and hand processes as a means to prototype ideas and techniques.
This session is perfect if you’d like to try some techniques to be more hands on with your ideas.
No previous experience necessary. This workshop is for artists, designers, product designers, architects and the general public who want to try working with wood.
