Join Nancy on Tuesday, April 22nd at 5:30 to unleash your creativity in this hands-on stained glass class, where you’ll craft an adorable pair of snails using traditional techniques! In this class, you will cut and shape glass pieces to design a unique project, using vibrant shades handpicked by you. You’ll learn to grind the edges of your glass to smooth perfection and apply copper foil to prepare your project for soldering.
Your project will come together when Nancy takes your project home to finish with solder, ensuring a professional, durable finish. Everything is included.

Instructor-led project assembly and soldering
No prior experience needed! Whether you’re a first-timer or looking to sharpen your stained glass skills, this class will provide you with the tools and techniques to make something truly beautiful.
Your project will be finished approximately 1 week after class. You will receive a phone call or text when it's ready for pick-up.
Nancy has lived in Aberdeen since 1991 with husband Larry, working as a musician, teaching piano, voice, and serving as music director at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Upon her retirement in 2021, she began enrolling in various classes at ARTworks Vass where she caught the stained glass bug! We are excited that Nancy is sharing her passion with us at ARTworks Vass!
Important Information:
Beginners are welcome.
Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
Only Registered Guests may attend class.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
