About this Event
Join Highwire Improv for a few hours of super simple, drop-in improv! If you're looking to do some improv for fun, looking to get some practice in, or looking to meet other improvisers, this is the event for you!
We will:
- Do some warmups to get our brains and bodies ready to improvise.
- Check-in, introduce ourselves, and confirm boundaries for the evening.
- Learn something new with one or two exercises from the evening's teacher.
- Run lots and lots of improv scenes! Usually two-person scenes, but we'll explore and expand on that based on what the group is interested in doing that evening!
Expectations:
All participants are required to follow the Highwire Improv Code of Conduct and arrive on-time to make sure that we can align on how we'll hold space for one another.
There's a suggested donation of $5 for the room but this is. not required. However, registration is requested so that we know how many people are planning to attend and can ensure we stay within the room capacity.
As detailed previously, in-person events at Highwire Improv are only recommended for those individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
