Make a quilted hand embroidered cushion cover

Get crafty and cozy by making your own quilted cushion cover in your colours of choice using simple hand embroidery techniques!
About this Event

for this or this workshop you will need to bring your own fabric for the back panels of the cushion, a fat quarter will be enough, at The workshop you will choose your own embroidery colours to co-ordinate with the fabric you have brought.

we will use two very simple embroidery stitches, a running stitch and a chain stitch to create the embellished panel while at the same time creating the quilted effect

You do not need to have any previous experience of machine sewing or embroider as all will be demonstrated

At the end of the session you will have a completed 12" cushion cover

All tools and materials to create the quilted/embroidered panel will be provided along with lots of tea, coffee, cold drinks, sweet treats and lots of great company with fellow crafters

So come along and give it a go, it will be great fun
