About the Event

Join sustainability professionals, policy makers, and community leaders for Make a Green Noise: Roots to Resilience—a unique event combining interactive design workshops, exclusive project updates, and hands-on learning experiences with delicious food and great company. This forum mark's Little Growers' 8th Make a Green Noise forum!

You’ll provide valuable feedback on the selection and priotization of LGI's green infrastructure projects including the Crane Creek Restoration Project, the Community Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) Project, the Mud Lake Project, and more. Together, these infrastructure projects are expected to provide countless benefits to the Indian River Lagoon, while providing food to the surrounding communities.

**You will also have the opportunity to sign up to win a FREE bird-friendly garden installation by Little Growers Inc, an initiative funded by Cornell University's Celebrate Urban Birds Grant Program. (Up to 4 bird-friendly gardens will be installed in the community)


What to Expect
  • Interactive Nature-Based Solutions Gallery Cast your vote on a variety of nature based solutions options to help us determine which aesthetic and functional solutions best fit our community’s needs.
  • LGI Project Updates & Visioning Get the latest on our active sites—including Crane Creek Restoration Project, Jackson Street Food Forest, and the community IMTA system—and help prioritize our next round of NFWF funding.
  • Community Science Training Join Florida Tech faculty for a hands-on introduction to the CoCoRaHS app and learn how to contribute local climate data to regional resilience efforts.
  • Networking Breakfast and Lunch Connect with sustainability professionals, policymakers, and community partners over 2 catered meals.
  • Optional: Lagoon House LID Tour Explore the Marine Resources Council grounds to see real-world Low Impact Development (LID) components benefiting the Indian River Lagoon (Sign-up required at checkout).
