Who are we looking for?

We have opportunities across both schools for people at every stage of their career:

• Teachers: qualified and unqualified, with a passion for child-centred SEND education
• Teaching Assistants: patient, supportive individuals ready to make a real difference in the classroom
• Lunchtime Supervisors: friendly staff to provide safe and engaging lunchtime support

Whether you're an experienced educator, considering a move into SEND, or simply curious about what we do, we'd love to meet you.

What to expect on the night

This is a relaxed, welcoming evening, no formal interviews, no pressure. Just a genuine chance to explore, ask questions, and see if it feels right for you.

• 🏫 Guided school tours at 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm
• 📋 Job descriptions and application forms available to take away
• 🤝 Meet teachers, teaching assistants and school leadership
• ☕ Light refreshments provided throughout the evening
• 🚗 Free on-site parking

About the schools

Tettenhall Wood School is a specialist school for autistic pupils aged 4–19, based in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. We hold Advanced Autism Accreditation status through the National Autistic Society and believe in dreaming big, making every minute count for every child.

Penn Hall School, based in Penn, Wolverhampton, supports pupils aged 2–19 with physical disabilities and complex needs. Every child at Penn Hall is known, valued and empowered to achieve greatness.

Both schools are part of Amethyst Academies Trust.
