Join Maine Design Fest at Bold Magazine Shop for an intimate conversation with John and Linda Meyers, the creative duo behind Wary Meyers, the celebrated Maine-based brand known for turning scent, color, and nostalgia into cult objects. In addition to designing Wary Meyers’ distinctive soaps and candles, they are also the designers of Enthousiasmos, a magazine for curious people by Roman Coppola and Johan Chiaramonte.

Hosted by Stacy Mitchell, owner of Bold Magazine Shop, this casual “shop talk” will explore the founders’ creative partnership, sources of inspiration, and the role curiosity plays in building a multifaceted creative practice. From product development and storytelling to entrepreneurship, creative risk-taking, and custom collaborations, attendees will gain insight into how ideas evolve into meaningful experiences.

Whether you’re a designer, maker, entrepreneur, or simply a curious creative, this conversation offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from two creators who have built a distinctive and bold brand.

Stacy Mitchell is the founder and owner of Bold Magazine Shop, an independent magazine shop and cultural gathering space in Portland’s Arts District.
