Maifest – or Mayfest – is an annual German festival that celebrates the arrival of spring. It’s a time for families, friends, groups and communities to come together and enjoy traditional German food, music, merriment and dancing.
Our Club event follows suit - welcoming residents and visitors of all ages, interests and backgrounds with a day full of fun festivities.
Enjoy live music performed by Da Stube Buben, and dances performed by the adult BoogieTanz Kabaratt and youth KinderTanzGruppe.
A Zid Zone will keep young ones entertained for hours, with hands-on games and activities hosted by a local school.
Our 2024 booths feature a variety of handmade items - just in time for Mother's Day! Shop potted succulents, clay figures, jewelry, wood-burned and wood-cut items and art, 3D-printed reticulating animals, artisan soaps, aprons, embroidered clothes, hats and headpieces, rope baskets, warmer bags, delicious baked goods, and so much more! (NOTE: All vendor spots are now full.)
MENU: Main dishes for $7 include Curry Wurst, Kartoffel Suppe (Potato soup), Weiner (Hot Dog) and Vegan Bratwurst. Side dishes are $5 and include Rotkohl (Red Cabbage), Kase Spatzle (like Macaroni and Cheese) and Brezel (Pretzel). Desserts are $7 and include Apfelkuchen (Apple Cake), Bienenstitch (German Bee Sting Cake), Zitronen-Schnitten (Lemon Cake) and cheesecake. We will also have special, seasonal drinks for $7 including Maibock and Maibowle.

VOLUNTEERS: We need volunteers to fill a variety of roles. Donating time earns you complimentary entrance a meal and drink and the warm-fuzzy feeling that comes from supporting your local community. If interested, please call 619-302-0989.
