Join the Blue Ridge Birdies for Mahjong Basics 102, a follow-up class designed for players who already know the fundamentals and are ready to gain confidence at the table. This class is perfect for those who have taken our Basics 101 course or have learned Mahjong within the last three months.

In Basics 102, instructors will help refine your understanding of the National Mahjong League card, improve hand selection, strengthen strategy, and answer common “now what?” questions that come up once you start playing. Expect guided play, real-time coaching, and plenty of tips to help the game click.

Come ready to play, ask questions, and deepen your Mahjong skills in a fun, supportive environment. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early—we can’t wait to play with you!

Pastries will be provided. Come a bit early to buy a cup of coffee. Class begins promptly at 9:30. Due to the nature of this game, it is important for everyone to arrive on time!
