Hosted at the Chinese American Museum DC, this introductory workshop invites participants to learn the fundamentals of Hong Kong–style mahjong while engaging with the broader cultural context behind the tiles.
Whether you grew up around mahjong tables but never learned to play, or you’re curious about the game you’ve seen in films like Crazy Rich Asians, this session offers a welcoming entry point.
