Where compassion grows and the next generation learns to lead with kindness.Step into two unforgettable summer mornings at the sanctuary, where children ages 9–14 connect with rescued animals in a meaningful, hands-on way. The Magnolia Summer Experience is designed to inspire compassion, responsibility, and a lifelong respect for animal welfare...all while creating memories they’ll never forget.
Over the course of June 25th and 26th from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, participants will be welcomed into the daily rhythm of sanctuary life. They’ll meet our rescued horses, goats, and cows, take part in morning feeding routines, help refresh waters and hay, and even gather fresh eggs to take home.
Each day offers engaging, guided experiences such as horse care demonstrations, grooming, safe handling introductions, and enrichment activities like creating refreshing “horse treats” using fruits and natural ingredients. There’s also time spent in the goat pen, giving kids a chance to relax, laugh, and bond with some of our most playful residents.
Day two includes a creative tie-dye activity (bring your own item and we’ll provide the rest!) and ends on a sweet note with a celebratory frozen treat.
More than just time on the farm, this experience is about shaping the next generation of compassionate advocates...young people who understand the importance of kindness, respect, and standing up against animal cruelty.

Spots are limited to ensure a personal, meaningful connection with the animals.
Animal Interaction Policy
All interactions are on the animals’ terms only. We are a rescue and sanctuary, not a petting zoo. Our team may close off paddocks at any time to ensure every animal—and every guest—remains safe and happy.
Ticket Policy – Nonrefundable
All ticket sales are nonrefundable. Your purchase directly supports the ongoing care of the rescued animals at Magnolia Equine Sanctuary.
In the event of inclement weather or an unforeseen emergency, the event will be rescheduled, and all tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date.
