As part of Fashion Revolution Week, Ethical Clothing Australia invites you to a special screening of Made in Bangladesh, a drama that examines the working conditions and social challenges faced by garment workers.Through its story, the film brings ethical production and labour rights into sharp focus, encouraging audiences to consider what sits behind the clothes we wear and the very real human cost of unsafe and unfair work in the global fashion industry.
The evening will also include a short documentary produced by Ethical Clothing Australia, along with curated interview footage that connects the themes of the film to our local context. This includes insights from Christina Hajagos-Clausen (Textile and Garment Industry Director, IndustriALL) and Jenny Kruschel (TCF National Secretary, the Timber, Furnishings and Textile Union), alongside contributions from union representatives, workers, and outworkers from Australia’s textile, clothing, and footwear sector.
Doors open at 6:00pm. Formalities commence at 6:30pm.
