💃 Step into a world of creativity, colour and celebration at the NGV’s 2025 children’s summer exhibition!
Let’s Party! Fashion for Kids: Designed by Danielle Brustman is inspired by dancing, parties and the sparkle of decorations. Dressing up is a fun and powerful way for kids to express themselves, and in this creative setting, young visitors can explore party-perfect outfits and join in exciting, party-themed activities.
Featuring spectacular garments from the NGV’s Fashion and Textiles Collection, the exhibition is brought to life by Danielle Brustman, one of Australia’s leading contemporary designers. From dazzling evening dresses to bold, imaginative outfits and playful accessories, the displays showcase the creativity of top designers from Australia and around the world.
This summer, everyday is a party at the NGV!

💃 ABOUT DANIELLE BRUSTMAN
Danielle Brustman is a Melbourne-based interior designer with over a decade of experience across residential, retail and early education interiors, as well as bespoke cabinetry, furniture, lighting, installations and exhibitions. Known for her sophisticated use of colour and geometric references, Brustman draws on both historical and contemporary influences to create striking spaces.
Represented by Sophie Gannon Gallery and Useful Object Gallery, Brustman’s design pieces and installations have featured in major exhibitions at the NGV, including the Rigg Design Prize (2018), NGV Triennial (2020) and Melbourne Now (2023).
