Sunday, March 15 @ 3 PM at The Historic Old Madeleine Church, Portland OR. This cool concert features icons of 20th century American music: The Sacred Concert by Duke Ellington, Simple Gifts Suite by film composer John Williams, Clarinet Concerto by Aaron Copland, and Spirituals by African American composers Jester Hairston and William Dawson. Performed by clarinetist Michael Kissinger, the 16-voice Bravo! Choir, Jazz Ensemble and Conductor Maria Manzo.
